Safer Internet day 2018

This year, AFA will be joining with people across the world to promote safer use on the internet. How much do you know on how to keep yourself safe as well as having fun online? Are you worried about a friend? Or do you know where to get help if you are in trouble?

The internet is a fun place when used safely. The following websites give great advice about keeping you and your friends safe:

These websites have lots of valuable information and cool videos on hot topics from live streaming to dealing with pressure to online bullying. They also provide information on when you need advice, when you have a question about online safety and if you need help but can’t go to a trusted adult.

If you feel you can’t talk to anyone, you could talk to your carer, Placement Manager/Social Worker, A teacher, AFA 01603 559255 or call Childline on 0800 1111
